工藤 静夫

Rumi's father, formerly a detective in the First Investigation Division of the Metropolitan Police Department. He has retired to become a farmer in Nagano, and rejects the relationship between Rumi and Kano.

He posts regularly on the Aya Kamiki fan forum and "The 87th Precinct Telecommunity" under the username "Pretty Honey." He pretends to be a 19 year old female college student, and is an online friend of Kenji Osawa.

He has had several anonymous arguments with Rumi on the "87th" forum, with Shizuo criticizing the police for not doing their job, while Rumi insisting that police work is very difficult and deserves more credit.

He takes his username from a nickname for the apples he grows on his farm, which are pretty little things, and nearly as sweet as honey.
