A Therion, he is one of the leaders of Medusa organization. He was once an Academia student, under teachings of Victor Ray. He's an easygoing person while also a smooth-talker.
Maynart used to wield the gem Lapis Lazuli (the Will of pursuit) when he was a student. He once went on a journey to search for the fabled Golden Lord from fairy-tales, but at the end of the journey, his gem was broken to pieces. After obtaining a new Will, he became affiliated with Medusa. He also gained an ideal that "Justice from the minority can never be acknowledged so I chose to be evil. The disadvantaged have to be tainted with vice if they want to save themselves."
