Despite using her skill to help others, Redfins has led a painful life because of it. An Estienne-class staffer, she was forcibly sent to the training facility on her 9th birthday and caught the eye of an executive who trained her as a spy. Just a year before deployment, internal power struggles led to a reorganization, and she was reassigned as the leader of a new experimental unit investigating mana-related incidents.
This new role sparked significant personal change, especially after an incident two years ago that shook her core beliefs.
Redfins is highly self-centered, often acting without explanation—disappearing mid-investigation or giving odd orders to subordinates. Yet, her instincts consistently lead to breakthroughs, so no one questions her methods. She seems whimsical and stubborn, but is surprisingly attuned to others' emotions—though she refuses to act just to please them. To her, helping someone means guiding them, not simply giving them what they want.
She's especially perceptive of her partner Notrick’s inner struggles and is often the first to offer honest advice, drawn by his unwavering pursuit of truth. She also has a mischievous streak, taking secret pleasure in others' reactions to her offbeat jokes.
