On the night of the Mermaid Festival, Takumi finds her after she falls in to the sea.

Takumi's mother, Isana, invites her to stay with them, and Shione also ends up working at Mermaid.

While she has her moments of weakness, Shione is honest and obedient. She becomes quite attached to Takumi.

She's an extremely good singer.
