Always acting together with Morei, having a relationship with her as both brother and lover, he also shared a deep hatred towards the people outside Edo just like other members of Yatsukahagi although he is an easygoing person that will create comfortable atmosphere to talk with.

It could be said that he is the most dangerous person among all the Tenmas as well.

In truth he is one of the male character in Dies Irae as well as brother of Kei Sakurai and lover of Beatrice Kircheisen, Kai Sakurai, after the death of Marie, Mercurius and Reinhard Heydrich, he along with other survived members of Marie universe joined in the group formed by Ren in order to protect what's left of her world.
