Morioka is the Division 1 Section Chief. He's a very fiery man who has a keen intuition and disdain for placing appearances and politics over results.

Morioka oversees the entire X-Day Investigation and is Aiji Yanagi's former boss. Everything that Yanagi knows about being a cop he learned from Morioka.
