The Shinsengumi's captain of the 9th Division.
He is the brother of Kashitaro Itou, and he joins the Shinsengumi at the same time as his brother.
He finds interest in the protagonist and picks on her. Together, he and his brother leave the Shinsengumi to form the Guardian of the Imperial Tomb.
