The protagonist of the Arsene Lupin works by Maurice Leblanc. Unlike the master thief portrayed in the original tales, this Lupin is prone to catastrophic errors because of carelessness or clumsiness and frequently needs Ganimard's help to bail out of trouble. Despite her inexperience and lack of technique, Lupin is willing to work hard for her ultimate goal of becoming a master thief worthy of her story and has enlisted the help of the Register, Maurice, as her mentor.

She uses her gun against the worms, if she's brought along her home-made robot it can also deploy its weaponry against massed worms.

Although she hones her thief skills at Maurice's hideout underneath the Eiffel Tower, her fixation on accomplishing tasks in the most stylish way possible tends to get her in trouble when she falls for her occasional careless fumble. She's also liable to make mistakes when she's trying to impress people watching her, something Ganimard is all too familiar with.

Grimoire identifies her latent frustration with always relying on Maurice and Ganimard to get her out of scrapes and grants her the power to manipulate the worms to rob precious works. Although drunk on the power of the worms to seize objects by force, Lupin is made to realise the hollowness of such an achievement and regains her senses enough to have the parasitic worm exorcised.
