Okoda Electric Works, where the main character Shinobu Kamo works, goes bankrupt and closes due to a shortage of funds.

The president skips town overnight and the employees are at their wits’ end. Kamo, who spent his days in idleness, has no savings. He starts gambling as a last resort, which ends up giving him disappointing results as usual.
