In 'Rookies,' Kusakabe Michihiko is a self-styled detective who hasn't landed a single case and survives on part-time jobs. On his 30th birthday, he finally gets a request: investigate the circulation of narcotics at an all-girls school. His girlfriend makes him promise that this will be his last case if he fails.
