Homeroom Teacher

The homeroom teacher is an adviser who is in charge of a class. Their tasks range from recording attendance to providing announcements. Usually, students in Japan spend the first part of their school time for homeroom sessions, where they listen to the announcements or simply hang out until classes begin.
