Rattail

Rattail is a hairstyle in which a tail-like piece of hair is longer than the hair around it. Different from a ponytail in that with a ponytail, all or part of the hair is pulled back into the tail, usually with some sort of hair tie, while with a rattail, no hair is pulled back, the tail is simply there.
