Absurdist Comedy is a sub-genre of comedy that derives its humor from illogical scenarios, irrational dialogue, and surreal or nonsensical events. The absurdity is primarily used not to explore existential themes, but to entertain through unpredictable, often ridiculous premises and punchlines.

This tag applies to works where absurdity is central to the comedic tone, such as intentionally nonsensical character behavior, bizarre plot developments with no rational cause, or humor built on defying narrative logic.
