Data East Corporation (データイースト株式会社) also abbreviated as DECO, was a Japanese video game company. Their main headquarters were located in Tokyo, while their American subsidiary, Data East USA, was headquartered in San Jose, California. The company was in operation from 1976 to 2003, when it declared bankruptcy.
