Takahashi Ao was born August 8, 1979 in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. She is a voice actress affiliated with Kenyu Office, but used to be previously affiliated with Aoni Production and Aksent.

She has been married to Tachibana Shinnosuke ever since January 2017.
