Bungo, living alone, is shocked when his mother, Karin, who passed away three years ago, suddenly appears before him.
Karin had been serving as a maid for the King of Hell in the afterlife. But one day, she caught a glimpse of her son living an unhealthy, sloppy life in the world of the living. Unable to stand by, she fled the afterlife and returned to her beloved son.

Just like when she was alive, Karin starts taking care of Bungo—cooking, cleaning, and doing his laundry. But soon, her care extends to… his other needs too.

Not long after, Shirokikyou, an oni from the world of the dead, arrives to bring Karin back. But instead, she falls for Bungo and decides to stay, joining Karin as a live-in maid. Together, the two happily dote on Bungo.

And so, Bungo suddenly finds himself the master of two maids from the afterlife. But the King of Hell, who rules over the underworld, isn’t about to let this slide…
