Hinata was like everyone at Yadachigawa Academy who recognized Kiriha as the perfect student who is both smart and beautiful. However, his childhood friend Makoto said that her appearance is merely a façade. He would later find out about her hidden true side by chance. Accepted into his group of friends, Kiriha found out how good it felt to be able to be herself without having to put on a fake exterior. Along with his classmate and childhood friend Haneru and his younger sister Hiyori, who looks up to her, they enjoy their days together while causing mischief. However, the student council was not happy with their carefree group, especially the vice-president Yaeka, who was jealous of Kiriha and vowed to expose her true side.
