The world has pretty much ended. Those things...they showed up and just took over. Joanne has found a safe place to be, where she can be all alone. After all, you never know if what you're talking to is a human, or one of them. Luckly the radio still works, and for a while now you have been hearing the pleads for help of a stranger.
