After the battle with the Dark God Overlord Vergius, Sylvia became known as the benevolent 'White Empress' after taking the throne, with a policy going forward of mending their relationship with the other nations and focused much of her effort on reconstruction following the war.

However, such a lofty task is surely too much of a burden to place on her shoulders alone.

After overcoming many adversities together, one of her confidants and best friend, Anora, in an attempt to cheer Sylvia up, decided to set her up with Leonhardt, who was returning from an expedition.

And so Sylvia, who once experienced the thrill of the Soul Cage which bound her very soul, finds herself falling into that same trance once more as Leon makes full use of the vestiges of the cage still clinging to her soul.
