"On a night at the Galactic Railroad, you will catch a glimpse of the girls' hell."

The protagonist, Soratarou, waits for the usual train by the platform. Having lost the person he loves most, he wastes away his colourless days in shock. Not knowing the meaning of life, nor knowing what he's meant to do from now on...

Normally, he would take the train at this time and go to university, but suddenly the thought of jumping off the platform crosses his mind. To die, to end everything.

At that moment, a strangely dressed girl appears before him, as an old-fashioned train he's never seen before pulls up at the station. She extends him an invitation,

"Come with me, let's take a journey on the Galactic Express to find the real you."

Following her invitation, Soratarou boards the train alongside that girl.
There, he catches a glimp of the girls' hell...
