An orphan who shares a friendly rivalry with Reiji dating back to their time in the same orphanage. He has witnessed incessant war and suffering during travels with his foster father and now bears a deep hatred for "evil".

Ryuuichi is as dense as he is stubborn for justice, reflecting any female affections like a wall.

In battle, his hair becomes blond and his eyes turn green due to him infusing the power of lightning with himself. He is able to move in the speed of light and can deal lightning-based attacks.

Ryuuichi is a war orphan who lost his parents during the Fimbulwinter War. Although he lived in the same orphanage as Reiji and even quarrelled with him, he is somehow Reiji's best friend. Because of his serious and awkward personality, Ryuuichi is the polar opposite of Reiji, who is carefree. Since the both of them are rivals, they can only understand each other through their fists.

In battle, Ryuuichi is able to integrate lightning magic into his martial arts techniques. Among the "Mahoutsukai" residing in Tsukiyomi Island, Ryuuichi's ability is one of the top tier ones.
