A mysterious old man in the village. Known for his exceptional dexterity in one-on-one combat.
Has a calm and peaceful mindset. On sunny days, he is often found drawing landscape paintings outside his home.
Later on in the story, it is revealed that Mikage is a notorious serial killer, once frightened a large number of human beings. Going insane over Rei's power, he has decided to make the boy his next target. As a result, a pact was made between him and Subaru: if Mikage agrees to let Rei "steal" all of his combat techniques, he could kill Rei afterward.
