She is the only female Black Knight beside Superbia and is the only member with wings that can fly. She uses a sword that can be used as a whip which resembles a spine, allowing her to specialize in mid-ranged and close combat.
Being an apostle of Index and a subordinate of Georgius of the Rainbow, she fought with the other members of the Punishment Squad against Liselotte in the past; and although she perished, Invidia was revived afterwards by Misao using a artificial body.
Her Index name is "Elaine of the Dragon Skeleton". Later, it is revealed that she loves Sebastian (Ira).
