When Tanya was four years old, her Gift awakened, and in a state of fear and panic she conjured a toxin that melted her home and killed her parents. Thus, it was not until she was an adult and proven to have control over her gift that the Pangean government kept a strict and watchful eye on her.

Despite having proven her control over her power and being granted her emancipation from their watchful eye, she is treated as an outcast amongst her peers.

Tanya currently attends Hero Haven University as a student of the Hero program, intending to fight the Blood Creatures one day. However, in her pursuit of the truth about her world, she finds herself in the midst of investigating the Church of Ichor.
