Overview

In the early Edo period, Kayo lives with her father at a tea house. One day, the Sunpu Castellan's princess, her exact doppelganger, asks her to pose as the bride in a wedding procession. Reluctant yet determined, Kayo embarks on a journey from Tokaido to Edo, guarded by six samurai. Along the way, she encounters destructive youkai and becomes entangled in the 'Sword Retrieving Imperial Match,' a ritual hidden behind the search for five legendary swords. As destinies intertwine, two paths emerge: one of war with the sword, and one of peace with you. Which fate will they choose?
