Mage Wars

Legend says there once was a Mythical Dragon, the ancestor of all Mages. This powerful yet benevolent creature always helped humans overcome their daily struggles, shaping the Promised Land from a single sphere of mana. It was a world of miracles, and the Dragon allowed humans to live there as long as they promised to repay a favor someday. But humans grew greedy and lazy, never repaying their debts. When the Dragon threatened to banish them, they revolted, impaling it with poison swords and burying it deep in a magic forest. Fifteen years ago, a Mage started an annual competition called the Mage Wars, where sixteen powerful Mages fight to the death for a chance to enter the Promised Land. Now, a Mage named Yuuji Yuki dreams of ending this war, but will his path be as simple as he hopes? Or will he discover that some things can never be changed?
