Their town was small but bustling. Tomoki Oosumi was happy to help his childhood friend Kanae Shinomiya prepare for the local festival. Her parents had left her to manage the shrine alone, and Tomoki seized any excuse to spend time with her. One day, the hot-tempered rival Shinya Kaidou appeared, trying to force himself on Kanae, but she used her aikido to humiliate him. That night, a small shrine behind the main building was vandalized. Kanae didn't know its origin—then rumors of demonic sightings and assaults spread through town. Tomoki noticed Kanae changing, Shinya vanished, and he began having disturbing dreams...
