Meanwhile, escape rooms are booming as adult live-action gaming. Naturally, one opens near WeHo's core, with production values rivaling a major movie studio. An immense mansion is erected over the corpse of a ruined multi-level parking lot. Escape Mansion WeHo quickly gains popularity for its multi-room, multi-hour format, secretive puzzle policies, and lavish sets. Within months, demand is so high that entry becomes invite-only. Luckily, Adam and Vince get their invite for a busy summer weekend night. Thrilled by their luck, they decide to conquer it. But what happens when they discover they're trapped in a real death game escape room with seven other strangers?
