Lotus Reverie: First Nexus is a second-person visual novel blending magic, mystery, and fantasy in a world shattered by an unexplained catastrophe. Without warning, 'The Incident' erased nearly all citizens, leaving less than 0.1% alive. In the chaos, two seismic shifts redefine existence. First, Tulpas appear—beings born from a human host's subconscious, looking and acting human yet semi-immortal. They cannot die by ordinary means, but their lifespans are limited. Tied to their host, a Tulpa dies if the host dies, and vice versa, forcing cooperation for survival. The only way to extend their lives is through duels—killing another Tulpa and their host, a moment when Tulpa vulnerability emerges. Second, a colossal monolith replaces the former royal palace, inscribed with six rules. Their chilling message: from all remaining souls in Maya, only one human and their Tulpa can survive.
