Yakumo receives a troubling message from his friend Naparvha, a Buddhist monk, about a cursed village in China. A young girl has been mysteriously killed, and two monks have fallen into an endless sleep. Yakumo travels to the village to investigate, aided by Yue Hua, the sister of the deceased girl.
