Nineteen-year-old Kayla Perrin escapes her troubled past in a rust-belt small town to take an athletic scholarship at Asgard College on the Gulf Coast, thinking she's found heaven on earth. She hopes for a fresh start after a tumultuous adolescence and a reunion with her childhood best friend, Lana.
