LINGERING

LINGERING is a visual novel from Ceylon Entertainment that delves into psychological trauma, dialogue-driven storytelling, and protagonist selection. The narrative follows the Heart Breachers, an organization defending humanity from the dangerous manifestations of their emotions. Every emotional outburst releases an Ignite, the purest form of energy. Negative emotions spawn Lingerings, destructive entities that can drive their hosts insane, while positive ones produce Astrays, usually harmless. In extreme cases, Ignites themselves must be dealt with, but killing one means permanently erasing the host's ability to feel. This game explores deep psychological issues, featuring boy x boy and girl x girl romances, with a bisexual male protagonist at the core.
