Overview
Every thousand years, when destruction looms, a prophecy foretells the coming of a Messiah from another world to save the root realm of Avatar. Mia Touma discovers an ancient, ornate book on her way home from school. When she shows it to her brother Taiga, the book teleports them to Avatar, a world resembling medieval Europe. Awakening there, an energetic woman declares them Savior Candidates, destined to train at a school to defeat the Lords of Ruin and Ruin itself. However, Taiga becomes the Red Apostle, complicating their mission. What is the true nature of this fight against Ruin, and can he become the prophesied Messiah?
