Oudou Yuusha

Awakening with no memory of your past, you don't know where you came from or even your own name. A kind-hearted little girl finds you and brings you to the greatest swordsman on the Western Continent, where you live happily. Yet, you sense a life before this and are determined to uncover your true identity. Journey to the Eastern Continent, seeking someone who knew the real you, unaware that your story is intertwined with the fate of the entire world... Oudou Yuusha is an RPG featuring a single hero (default name Zanba) who battles enemies, collects treasure, and levels up. Dialogues and cutscenes appear as text over still anime-style pictures, similar to Japanese adventure games. In exploration mode, the screen is divided into a large auto-map, a statistics screen, and a small window showing images of your current location. Turn-based battles (triggered at set points) are displayed from a platform perspective, like in fighting games, with health bars for the hero and opponents. The hero can attack, use items, or charge for a stronger strike.
