Kurai Heya

Seitaro Hino has lived his entire life in seclusion with his mother, falling ill at the slightest whiff of polluted outdoor air. His days are spent in a dim apartment with boarded-up windows, absorbed in self-study and literature. When his mother suddenly passes away, Seitaro is thrust into society, only to find his respiratory disease mysteriously cured. But the overwhelming rush of new experiences and sudden changes leaves him struck with aphonia. His aunt, Yoko Oshikawa, steps in to care for him as he struggles to adapt and find his footing in a world he's never truly known.
