The victim was her; the assailant, her twin brother, now in a boys' home. He stayed silent, his motive unknown, but she sensed that when they next met, he would kill her. He’d be released in July, and she toyed with dying before that, though she never acted. Time was running out. Then, a boy from the next class called out to her, sensing her ominous aura. She brushed him off coldly, but he returned the next day, stubbornly following her. Eventually, she confessed, hoping he’d be scared away.
