Prince Perrin of Lysaria is loved by the people yet despised by their family, save for their sickly mother. In order to keep the peace, Perrin has constantly bent to their father's whims while tolerating the despicable behavior of their two elder brothers. However, with the impending transfer of the crown, Perrin realizes they have little time left to secure the freedom and happiness of themselves, their mother, and the Kingdom of Lysaria.
