Fall, 2045 C.E. Aizawa Shuuhei, a second-year cadet at the Central Military Academy's primary division, embarks on a training mission to the Aries orbital space station. There, he reunites with his younger brother, Ryouta, and childhood friend, Nao, both cadets in the preparatory division. But their reunion is cut short as an unidentified spaceship, commanded by the radical terrorist group Jararacas, attacks and seizes the station's main control room. With all communication lines severed, Shuuhei and the others are stranded 250 miles above Earth, with no escape. In this desperate void, the cadets must gather their courage to reclaim the Aries—and in doing so, uncover a horrifying truth behind the attack.
