In 2001, a global catastrophe wiped out most developed nations. Japan, overwhelmed by refugees, saw security in those areas plummet. Simultaneously, an ancient Zoroaster prophecy was discovered, describing this exact situation and promising further destruction. Panic erupted. By 2003, the Japanese government enacted the Ixca re-differentiation program. By 2012, most had forgotten the prophecies as the predicted world's end never materialized. Our protagonist, returning from spring camp, believes in tomorrow—until he meets a ragged girl descending from the mountains. Ixca... prophecy... everyone's wishes... the final act begins.
