One rainy autumn evening, on my way home from a drinking party, I encounter a girl sitting in the rain, soaked to the bone. A cut on her forehead is bleeding. I bring her home with me. Her name is Maria, and she's from somewhere in Southeast Asia, but she doesn't remember who she is. Searching her bag, I find a photo, some cash, a makeup kit... and a handgun.
