Arcshu ~Kagerou no Jidai o Koete~

Arcshu: Kagerou no Jidai o Koete is a parody visual novel loosely tied to the wider Arcus series, crafted by Wolf Team. It playfully satirizes pop culture of its era, referencing movies, novels, comics, and animation. The story follows protagonist Jeda as he navigates static images, adventure puzzles, and menu-driven gameplay to solve an overarching mystery. When Jeda discovers a hole in his dimension, he must journey across alternate dimensions and through time to find a mystical holy sword and a set of CDs to restore reality. Along the way, he encounters numerous cameos from other Wolf Team and Nippon Telenet titles, such as Valis, Midgarts, and Final Zone. The soundtrack features tracks lifted from these properties, sometimes comically rearranged, enhancing the game's meta and humorous tone.
