Confinement

This character gets held in confinement.

Confinement is to shut or keep a person in a small closed space and prevent that person from leaving this place because of imprisonment, illness, discipline, etc.

This trait can be used for both people imprisoned by law, civil confinement for psychiatric patients and ones that are confined by others illegally, like a kidnapping.
