Haruki used to play volleyball but due to an injury he was forced to quit, crushing his dreams. He is pressured by Hinamura Kanae to become her assistant and give massages to her patients. He first rejects the idea until she tells him that all of her patients are women. Then he accepts Kanae's proposal to become her assistant.
