As a popular athlete and captain of the school’s soccer team, Vincent is used to doing whatever he wants, with little thought to the consequences. He can range from insensitive to down right mean to people he considers his social inferiors. It is possible that his aggressive behavior is just him acting-out because of all the pressure he is under. Or it is possible that he just needs someone to put him in his place.
