This character may seem cool and brutal for the audience until the moment his wife/girlfriend will come and say her word. In her presence he immediately becomes compliant and obedient. In other words, this kind of people humbly recognizes the leadership and authority of their woman. In some comedic stories women can even use a frying pan or other painful tool as an argument.

Note that this trait has nothing to do with sexual submission. Use Submissive Partner in this case.
