Being in Heat

Estrus cycle is the period of maximum sexual receptivity that the female of most mammals, excluding humans, experience just prior to ovulation.

In species/monsters with estrous cycles, females are generally only sexually active during the estrus phase of their cycle. This is also referred to as being "in heat".
