He plays the lead role of "Ryu" in the troupe's 22nd piece, Au Revoir. The previous night, he slept completely naked and caught a cold, leading to a sore throat.
In addition to appearing on stage, he's been taking on TV drama and film work as well. The next role he's slated for is in Sun TV's upcoming suspense-drama Sumo Queen 2, where he will play the referee who utters the lame line "Looks like things are getting heavy" upon discovering a victim's dying message inscribed in one corner of the sumo ring.

He and Toga accidentally lock Achi and Hitomi inside the troupe's storage building while hiding from The Man with the Cane.
