Vaelis

Snow elven mercenary.

Having felt the call of adventure early in his life, Vaelis was one of the few snow elves ever to leave his home town.

He was once friends with Althea's and Shea's father Morran, and the twins like him as they would a favorite uncle.

However, his many years fighting for a great many causes have left him bitter and disappointed in the world, as nothing he ever fought for turned out to be worth it in the end.

Even though he is hardly old for a snow elf, his years on the battlefield have left their marks on his body, and he now looks tired and exhausted.

But don't underestimate him: that seemingly worn-out sword arm still packs quite a punch, and there is no weapon he isn't dangerous with.
