Yamabuki enjoys showing off his muscles to others and believes that everything can be solved with muscles. Whenever he has time, he can start training his muscles anywhere, and he will practice wrestling with his colleagues. Although he hangs out with Ominaeshi every night for women, he is calm in serious situations or battles and is faithful to orders and instructions. Yamabuki was a Regimental Commander in the Land Self-Defense Forces and Amphibious Rapid Deployment Regiment.
