Inoue Maiko

Satoru's wife. The two of them met in medical school, and have been together for seven years.

Maiko is a very witty conversationalist, and oozes with self-confidence. She enjoys hosting dinner parties, and takes great delight in being surrounded by people. If left by herself for too long, she becomes gloomy. However, this is very unlike her shy husband -- so the two of them often have disagreements about the best way to spend their free time...

Although she went to medical school, she ended up working in an office, and is the boss of a small group of people. Because of her excellent leadership skills, she's considered a valuable asset to her company.

She enjoys over-the-top gory movies, and her favorite flowers are spider lilies. Her least favorite activity is washing dishes or doing laundry.
